I'm Kenney Mencher. I'm an artist who left a tenured professorship in 2016 to pursue making art full time. This blog is about art, art history, with a emphasis on human rights. I make homoerotic art featuring bears, otters & other gay wildlife.

Come out, come out wherever you are! I'm Terra Russell-Slavin, Chief Impact Officer at the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
This Pride season your demonstration of acceptance and love toward all LGBTQ people could not be more important! Thank you for your continued support of our community.
On behalf of the Center, I'm inviting you to join us at several Pride events this June. We're eager to see our Center friends and are also looking for volunteers interested in helping deepen the Center's impact. Please consider joining us below, or check out our complete Center Pride Month Schedule.
WeHo Pride: Friday, June 3–Sunday, June 5
The Center will be onsite the entire weekend celebrating and spreading the word about our programs and services. We'd love to see you at one of our resource booths if you're looking for information and connection.
AIDS/LifeCycle Finish Line Festival: Saturday, June 11
AIDS/LifeCycle is back for the first time in two years, and we need an army of volunteers to support our Finish Line Festival! This is the perfect way to put your Pride into action, make new friends, and get inspired by one of the Center's most vibrant communities.
March with the Center! LA PRIDE is back, and we invite you to march with the Center as a part of our LA PRIDE Parade contingent. Show your Pride alongside the Center with banners, swag, music, and more!
Trans Pride L.A.: Thursday, June 16–Saturday, June 18
The Center will once again host the annual Trans Pride L.A. The three-day event is one of the nation's oldest and largest celebrations of the TGI/ENBY+ (Trans, Gender Non-Conforming, Intersex, Non-Binary & Gender Expansive) community. Join us for this FREE celebration of community that includes both in-person and virtual events.
