MAX GINSBURG'S paintings are in many museums and private collections including The Butler Institute of American Art, The Washington County Museum, The Society of Illustrators Museum, The Salmagundi Club, The Art Renewal Center, The Martin Luther King Labor Center 1199. Two most recent of his many awards are "The Grand Prize" from the Portrait Society of America in 2015 and the "Best in Show" from The Art Renewal Center in 2011. From 1980-2004, he painted commissioned illustrations for leading publishing institutions such as HarperCollins Publications and New York Times Magazine.
Ginsburg has taught art at The High School of Art & Design (1960-1982), The School of Visual Art (1984-2000) and The Art Students League (2008-present). He has also given workshops around the world since 2008.
