Kim Scott is a celebrated visual artist and arts educator from Sacramento, California. Memoirs from the 6th Great Extinction features a body of work referencing the endangerment and loss of species and habitats. Through Scott’s romanticized portraits, she explores nature and the human condition. Equally beautiful, mysterious and funny, her paintings move through realism and surrealism incorporating both classical techniques and contemporary adornments.
