Demo How to Make an Academic Drawing of a Plaster Cast (The Wipe Out Method)

This is an academic plaster cast drawing  that I use as a demonstration for my students. It's not the best drawing in the world, but I think it'll show you the basic concepts of how to lay in the drawing and how to wipe it out and develop it. The way that I developed this drawing was by putting charcoal dust down on the paper  and rubbing it in with a soft rag. Then I used a combination of charcoal, vine charcoal, kneaded gum eraser, and then of course I through the drawing away because it's not very good.  I'm sharing it in the hopes that maybe it will help some of you to develop your skills.
