Join us in celebrating the beginning of  Orquesta Victoria's tour through the Bay Area and in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the world famous singer and tango composer Carlos Gardel.   Argentinian empanadas, wine, and beer for sale. Enjoy special Tango performances, videos and a photograph exhibit of Argentina! 




Pre-concert talk & Live concert
Thursday, June 25th / 7pm pre-concert talk, 8pm concert / $20 ADV, $25 at the door / Theater

Pre-concert talk "Jewish Life and Tango in Argentina" with Anita Epelbaum Weinstein, leader in AMIA (Argentine Jewish Communities Federation), and sociologist from Hebrew University specializing in the Argentine Jewish community. 

Enjoy dance performances by Christy Coté and Debbie Goodwin (all-female
tango company, Tango Con*Fusion) and Nicholas Tapia and Stephanie Berg (2014 Argentine Tango USA Champions). 

CD premiere of La Media Cuadra Inmortal (The Immortal Half Block) by local San Francisco composer, Débora Simcovich, and hear these new works, plus beloved Gardel classics superbly arranged by Orquesta Victoria!
